cameron in buckeyes

While at Harambee, standing nearly six feet, two inches tall and weighing in at 260 pounds, Cameron Brickle II is quite the accomplished athlete. Cameron, or “BIG C” as he was affectionately referred to at Harambee was the number one rated defensive football player in Pennsylvania and a top ten rated player in the United States.

While at Harambee, Cameron was invited and played in an All-Star football game which highlighted the skills and talents of the top middle school players in the country. During that game, Cameron’s skills were so dominate he garnered college football scholarship opportunities from some of the top football programs in the country including the SEC, ACC and Big 10!

More importantly, beyond his athletic prowess, Cameron was an outstanding student maintaining a 3.0 grade point average. Even more impressive was his character as he carried himself as a gentleman and model student with a strong moral compass. He also demonstrated strong leadership skills as he is part of our student leadership program affectionately known as “The Black Shirts”.

Today, as one of Pennsylvania's top junior defensive linemen, he will be heading to the Sunshine State for his senior campaign and is an outstanding Harambee alumni.

2026 4-star defensive stalwart Cameron Brickle II announced on X he will be transferring from Malvern Prep (Pennsylvania) to IMG Academy (Florida). Brickle II has Power 4 offers from many universities including: Alabama, Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas and a host of others.

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, defensive line coach Larry Johnson’s hot streak on the recruiting trail continued when three-star defensive lineman Cameron Brickle committed to The Ohio State University.

Brickle is considered a top defensive player in Florida and in the country. He first got his offer from The Buckeyes in October 2024 and chose Ohio State over Maryland, Florida State and Penn State.

Cameron Brickle, a true example of Harambee’s core value of GREATNESS!
